Two substantive books on Alfred Buxton and his gardens have been published.

The Fairer Side of Buxton: Alfred Buxton’s gardens and the women who loved them by Clare Gleeson. Published by The Cuba Press in 2024.

In addition, individual gardens have been the subject of many articles in history and garden magazines.  As time allows details of these articles will be added to the website.
